SAMPI Organic Fish Hydrolysate Fertiliser
SAMPI Fish Hydrolysate is an organic fertiliser, soil biology feed and revitaliser produced from fresh tuna in Port Lincoln, South Australia, from Australian processed wild caught tuna. It is 100% pure liquid fish and contains a wide spectrum of major nutrients and trace elements. The process is natural and organic and has been certified organic by NASAA (reg number 5404M).
The tuna material is ground and then enzyme digested in a low temperature process. It retains all the nutrients, trace elements, vitamins and oils that were present in the raw wild catch fish, and contains 5-15% omega fish oil.
Typical analysis: nitrogen 2.43%, phosphorus 1.51%, potassium 0.22%, sulphur 0.24%, calcium 0.31%, magnesium 0.05%, iron 97 mg/kg, zinc 14 mg/kg, selenium 5.1 mg/kg.
Use: suitable for foliar spray and for ground application through spray equipment and fertigation, on all soils, pastures, crops, ornamentals, trees and vegetables.
Application rates:
- Pasture: 10 - 20 L/ha diluted 10:1
- Dairy and beef rotational grazing: apply 7 days after grazing at 5 - 7 L/ha
- Field crops and vegetables: 20-40 L/ha at pre-planting diluted min 10:1; foliar spray 5-7 L/ha at 10-21 day intervals at 50:1 dilution
- Orchards and vines: 10-20 L/ha diluted min 10:1; foliar sprays at 5-10 L/ha diluted 100:1
