SAMPI Organic Fish Hydrolysate Fertiliser

SAMPI Fish Hydrolysate is a NASAA organically certified liquid fish fertiliser and soil biology feed, produced in Port Lincoln, South Australia from Australian wild-caught tuna. The fish material is naturally enzyme-digested using a low-temperature process that retains the naturally occurring proteins, amino acids, oils, nutrients and trace elements.

Designed to support soil microbial activity and soil fertility, SAMPI Fish Hydrolysate can be applied directly to the soil, through suitable fertigation equipment or as a foliar spray. It is suitable for pastures, broadacre crops, vegetables, orchards, vines, trees and ornamentals, and can also be used as a biological additive to compost.

The product contains 5–15% naturally occurring fish oil and a broad spectrum of nutrients and trace elements. Typical analysis includes 2.43% nitrogen, 1.51% phosphorus, 0.22% potassium and 0.24% sulphur, together with calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc and selenium.

Application rates: For pasture, apply 10–20 L/ha, preferably in moist conditions in the morning or afternoon. Under rotational dairy or beef grazing, SAMPI recommends 5–7 L/ha approximately seven days after grazing. For field crops and vegetables, apply 20–40 L/ha pre-plant, or foliar spray at 5–7 L/ha every 10–21 days. Orchards and vines can receive 10–20 L/ha to the soil or 5–10 L/ha as a foliar application.
