Salve Herbicide is a water dispersible granule for the control or suppression of weeds in winter cereals, pastures, non-agricultural areas, commercial and industrial areas and rights-of-way.

Common Questions
What is Salve Herbicide used for?
It is for the control or suppression of weeds in winter cereals, pastures, non-agricultural areas, commercial and industrial areas and rights-of-way. Weeds on the label include blackberry, common bracken, Paterson's curse and ragwort. Rates and situations are in the Directions for Use tables on the registered label.
Will it affect clover in my pasture?
Yes. This product will kill legumes (clovers, medics) present in the pastures at the time of spraying. DO NOT treat newly sown pastures as severe damage may occur.
What are the grazing withholding periods?
When the product is used alone: Cereal crops: do not graze or cut for animal feed for 21 days after application. Pasture: do not graze for meat production or cut for animal feed for 56 days, and do not graze for milk production for 3 days after application. The label also gives a clean-feed alternative for meat grazing and different periods for tank mixtures; see the registered label (APVMA 88260).
Can I use hay or manure from treated paddocks?
Do not send treated crops off-farm as hay, silage or for use as animal bedding. Aminopyralid residues from treated plants may pass into animal manure, composts, mushroom substrates and mulches and cause injury to sensitive broadleaf plants.
Do you ship this product Australia-wide?
As a regulated chemical, this product can only be transported by road freight, it cannot be sent via Australia Post or air freight. Call us on (07) 5482 1692 before ordering to confirm delivery to your area.
Mainland Australia only — we’re unable to deliver this product to Tasmania. It is classified as environmentally hazardous (a marine pollutant), so it is regulated as a dangerous good for sea and air transport and our freight carriers will not accept it on those routes.
