The top half of a solid hinge set. Each top saddle is made from galvanised steel and can easily be welded or screwed to a timber post. Rotech's 25NB top saddle is also available for round posts: instead of the standard flat backing, it is curved for a smoother fit.
Matching saddle attachment: Rotech SA25 (a separate Rotech product), which works with your top saddle to pull the gate up tight, so it swings clean instead of wobbling.
