Common Questions

What type of goats is this feed designed for?

Riverina Lactating Goat Pellets are formulated for lactating dairy goats and breeding goats. The feed is designed specifically for goats only and should not be fed to other animals.

Is this a complete feed on its own?

No, this is not a complete feed. Riverina Lactating Goat Pellets must be fed in conjunction with roughage such as hay, chaff or pasture. The pellets are designed to supplement and balance the nutrition from roughage, not replace it.

What nutrients does this feed provide?

The pellets contain a balanced mix of protein, calcium, phosphorus, vitamins and minerals to meet the nutritional needs of milking and breeding goats. The formula is based on current research into goat nutrition and manufactured to strict quality control standards.

Why feed pellets instead of loose mix?

The pelleted form ensures there is no feed segregation (where goats pick out preferred ingredients and waste others) and significantly reduces overall feed wastage, making it more economical and efficient.

How should I introduce this feed to my goats?

New feed should be introduced gradually over a period to allow the goats' digestive systems to adjust. Always ensure your goats have access to clean, cool, fresh water. If you have questions about your specific transition plan, contact TGRM on (07) 5482 1692 or visit 55 Tozer St, Gympie.
