Medication
This feed contains Rumensin® which supplies monensin sodium at 30 mg/kg. Withholding period: Meat – Nil.

What is Riverina Calf Rearer Crumbles used for?
It is a high energy supplementary feed for young unweaned dairy and beef calves. It is not a complete feed: it has been designed to supplement milk (or milk replacer) and hay or pasture feeding.
When do I start feeding it?
During the first 3 days the calf should receive colostrum and remain on the dam. Riverina says to introduce the crumbles gradually from 4 days of age, increasing to about 300g/head per day before weaning starts at about 5 weeks.
When can calves be weaned?
Riverina says calves can be weaned when they achieve target feed intakes and liveweights, not based on age: Friesian calves 1.0 kg/day at 90 - 110 kg; Jersey calves 0.75 kg/day at 65 - 85 kg.
Can I feed this to other animals?
No. Do not feed to dogs, horses or other equines as it may prove fatal. Feed only to growing calves.
