Virkon S is a broad spectrum virucidal, bactericidal, fungicidal disinfectant: a disinfectant cleanser for use in cleaning and disinfecting industrial, veterinary, animal and agricultural equipment and facilities. 50g pack.
Mixing: Select quantity of solution required and appropriate dilution rate. Measure out the required amount of Virkon S using the measures provided. Add Virkon S to the water and stir to dissolve.
Label rates (examples):
- Cleaning and disinfecting equipment and other non-porous surfaces: 1:200 (0.5%), 300–400 mL/m2. Rinse product contacting surface with potable water after use.
- Porous surfaces: 1:100 (1%).
- Aerial misting and fogging: 1:100 (1%), 3 L/10 m2.
- Footwear: 1:100 (10 grams of Virkon S to every 1 litre of water).
Restraint: Do not treat while animals are present - animals, feed, water, bedding, litter and other objects that may be contaminated should be removed from the area during the treatment.
Safety: The product is strongly acidic. Corrosive. Attacks eyes and skin. Will irritate the nose and throat. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not inhale dust.
