Install the 25,000L RapidPlas tank on a level, well-compacted base — a sand pad or slab at least 300mm wider than the tank all round — with the outlet accessible. Position it under your downpipes or connect it to your rainwater collection system via the 500mm inlet strainer, and fit the 90mm overflow kit so overflow is directed well away from the base. Before first use, rinse the tank out with clean water. Connect your pump or gravity line to the 2" BSP outlet, making sure all fittings are secure and watertight. Tips: A firm, level base is critical — a full 25,000L tank is extremely heavy and uneven ground can distort or crack the tank over time. Keep the inlet strainer and dust cover in place to stop leaves, debris and mosquitoes getting in. Check the overflow and outlet fittings for leaks periodically, and clean the strainer after heavy rain or storms.
