Install the 22,800L tank on level, well-drained ground and secure it firmly to prevent movement. Position the tank in a location that receives partial shade to help maintain water temperature and reduce algae growth. Fit a float valve to the inlet to automatically maintain water level and prevent overflow. Connect the tank to your water supply and ensure all connections are secure before allowing livestock access. Tips: Clean the tank monthly to remove algae buildup, especially during warm Queensland summers when water consumption and algae growth increase significantly. Position the tank centrally in your paddock and provide at least 0.75m of trough face space per cow to allow comfortable access for all animals. For rotational grazing, take advantage of the poly tank's portability—unlike concrete troughs, it can be easily relocated to fresh pasture areas.

This is a 22,800 litre rainwater tank made from UV stabilised polyethylene. It's built as a one-piece moulded construction and is food grade, BPA and heavy metal free.

Do I need to install a support pole or roof frame?

No. This tank is designed to be self-supporting with a strong engineered roof, so you don't need a centre support pole or internal roof support.

What's included with the inlet and overflow?

The inlet is 400mm diameter and fitted with a QLD health regulation anti-mosquito stainless steel mesh. The overflow is 90mm diameter and also fitted with QLD health regulation anti-mosquito stainless steel mesh.
