Then you’ll need a manufactured driving head for your specific machine.

ACP Driving Caps for Drop Hammer Drivers
Australian Concrete Posts recommend that a thick rubber material be used to cushion the direct impact on top of the post when driving them in.
Australian Concrete Posts have developed a driving cap for a drop hammer style driver that can be placed on top of the post.
The ACP Driving Cap holds a layer of 20mm rubber in place.
The layer of rubber padding inside minimises impact on post.

Slide the cap over the top of your 170mm strainer concrete post to protect it from water ingress and weather damage. Make sure the post surface is clean and dry before fitting. The cap should sit flush on top of the post — if it's loose, you may have the wrong size or the post top isn't level. Push it firmly down until it's seated properly. Tips: Check your post diameter before ordering — a 170mm cap won't fit a standard timber post or a narrower concrete post, so measure twice. Concrete posts can shift slightly when new, so wait a few weeks after installation before capping them if the fence is brand new. These caps are worth the money because water sitting on a concrete post top will crack it in a few seasons, especially in our Queensland heat and rain cycles.
