ACP Driving Caps for Drop Hammer Drivers
Australian Concrete Posts recommend that a thick rubber material be used to cushion the direct impact on top of the post when driving them in.
Australian Concrete Posts have developed a driving cap for a drop hammer style driver that can be placed on top of the post.
The ACP Driving Cap holds a layer of 20mm rubber in place.
The layer of rubber padding inside minimises impact on post.

Slide the cap over the top of your concrete post, making sure it sits fully down and square on the post head. The cap should fit snugly on posts between 110mm and 130mm wide. Once seated, it'll stay in place through normal handling and weather — no fastening required. If you're setting posts in wet concrete, fit the cap once the concrete has set hard to avoid it shifting. Tips: Check your post width before ordering — a loose cap will spin off in the wind, and one that's too tight won't go on properly. Keep the post top dry and free of concrete splatter before fitting the cap, as dirt can stop it seating properly. A cap that's installed square will shed water better and last longer in our Queensland sun.
