Philmac Slide & Tighten™ technology makes installation simple, with fittings supplied pre-assembled and no pipe chamfering or lubrication required. The nut tightens to the fitting body flange, providing a clear visual reference for correct installation.
Body: polypropylene. Nut and collet: acetal. Seal rings: nitrile rubber. Rated to 1600 kPa (PN16). Philmac 3G Metric is WaterMark approved and has WSAA appraisal.
Philmac recommends the use of PTFE tape on BSP threads to ensure a positive seal.

A Philmac 3G® Metric tee PE x PE x FI BSP, 32 x 32 x 1-1/4" (Philmac product number 70744400): two compression ends for 32mm metric PE pipe and a 1-1/4" female BSP branch.
How do I install it?
Cut the pipe square; there is no need to prepare the pipe end. Make sure the nut is fully relaxed with 2 threads showing, insert the pipe until the stop is felt, then tighten the nut by hand and then firmly with a wrench. Philmac recommends PTFE tape on BSP threads.
Can it be taken apart?
Yes. To disassemble, loosen the nut using a wrench until 2 threads are showing; the pipe will be released and can be pulled out of the fitting.
