Shipping & Delivery

Lay the poly pipe along your planned water route, following natural contours where possible. Join sections with barb-and-clamp fittings or compression fittings, and pressure-test the line for leaks before connecting troughs. Where the pipe is buried, place it deep enough to protect it from stock traffic, machinery and UV and back-fill without sharp rocks against the pipe — follow the pipe manufacturer's installation guidance and any local requirements for depth. Tips: Choose pipe diameter from the job, not a rule of thumb. The right size depends on the flow you need, the length of the run, the elevation it has to climb or fall, the fittings in the line and how many troughs draw at once — not on distance alone. This is 40 mm (≈1¼ inch) PN12.5 pipe; if you are not sure it suits your run, use TGRM's poly-pipe sizing guidance or call us with your run length, height change and required flow. Secure above-ground sections, and shade or bury exposed runs to reduce UV exposure. Polyethylene pipe is durable and corrosion-resistant with a long service life when installed correctly to the manufacturer's specification.
