How do I install it?
Cut the PE pipe cleanly and square; no chamfering or lubrication is required. With the pre-assembled nut loosened until two threads are visible, push the pipe straight into the fitting until the internal pipe stop is reached, then hand-tighten the nut and finish with an appropriate spanner where required, until the nut meets the fitting body flange. Fittings 32mm to 63mm may require the use of a wrench or multi-grips to tighten the nut so that it is touching the flange. Philmac recommends the use of PTFE tape on BSP threads to ensure a positive seal.
