3G Metric fittings are supplied pre-assembled and ready for installation. Cut the pipe square, insert the pipe into the pre-assembled fitting and tighten. No chamfering or lubrication is required. The nut tightens to the fitting body flange, providing a clear visual reference for correct installation.
The standard Philmac 3G Metric compression fitting range is designed for pressure applications up to PN16. Australian Made.

What is this fitting?
It is a Philmac 3G Metric male end connector PE x MI BSP, size 20 x 3/4", for connecting 20mm metric PE pipe to a 3/4" BSP thread (male thread on the fitting).
How do I install it?
Make sure the nut is fully relaxed with 2 threads showing. Cut the pipe square (no chamfering or lubrication is required), insert the pipe until the stop is felt, then tighten the nut by hand and then firmly with a wrench, all the way to the flange on the body of the fitting. Philmac recommends PTFE tape on BSP threads to ensure a positive seal.
Can it be taken apart?
Yes. Loosen the nut using a wrench until 2 threads are showing; the pipe will be released and can be pulled out of the fitting.
What pressure is it rated to?
