Philmac Poly Elbow Metric 32x1-1/4" FBSP Blueline 3g at a glance

Philmac 3G Metric female elbow PE x FI BSP, size 32 x 1-1/4".

3G Metric fittings are supplied pre-assembled and ready for installation. Cut the pipe square, insert the pipe into the pre-assembled fitting and tighten. No chamfering or lubrication is required. The nut tightens to the fitting body flange, providing a clear visual reference for correct installation.

The standard Philmac 3G Metric compression fitting range is designed for pressure applications up to PN16. Australian Made.

The fitting is pre-assembled and ready to use, however always ensure the nut is fully relaxed and 2 threads are showing before inserting the pipe. Cut the pipe square. There is no need to prepare the pipe end. Chamfering or lubrication is not required. Insert the pipe until the stop is felt. The nut should be tightened by hand and then firmly with a wrench. Tighten the nut all the way to the flange on the body of the fitting. For fittings from 32mm to 63mm, a wrench or multi-grips may be required to tighten the nut to the flange. Philmac recommends the use of PTFE tape on BSP threads to ensure a positive seal. To disassemble the fitting, loosen the nut using a wrench until 2 threads are showing. The pipe will be released and can be pulled out of the fitting. If you are not sure what suits your situation, contact TGRM on (07) 5482 1692.
