Sow Tom Grady Tropical Pasture Grazier Beef Mix during the optimal window of October to December in SE Queensland for best establishment. Use a pasture drill at 15-20 kg/ha for precision sowing, or broadcast at 20-25 kg/ha on prepared seedbeds, lightly harrowed in. Ensure good soil contact and adequate moisture for germination. Allow 8-12 weeks before first grazing to establish a strong root system and leaf development. Tips: This mix performs best on well-drained soils with pH 5.5-7.5 and suits properties receiving 600mm+ annual rainfall. The balanced grass and legume composition provides year-round nutritional value for beef cattle. Legume inoculation is essential before sowing to maximise nitrogen fixation and pasture productivity.
