Green Panic is a summer growing perennial grass that is used widely in cattle grazing systems. Green panic is tolerant of shady conditions and is a highly palatable plant with good forage quality when green.

Suited to higher rainfall regions with fertile, well drained soils.
Minimum rainfall: 500mm
Soil pH: 5.5-8.0
Sowing rate: marginal dryland 3 – 6 kg/ha; good dryland 10 – 12 kg/ha; irrigated 12 – 15 kg/ha
Sowing depth: no more than 1 cm
Graze lightly during the establishment year. Green panic needs to be managed well as it doesn't handle heavy grazing pressure.
