When a calf squeezes a traditional teat, most of the milk goes back into the container.

The Peach Teats unique patented internal collapsing flap-valve holds the milk in the teat, so it functions like a cow teat – moving all the time while the calf is suckling, and never closes in its relaxed state.
This means that the teat is self-cleaning and resists blocking.
It is also long-lasting and features a milk opening on each side of the nipple, which makes it leak-resistant.

Peach Teats are manufactured from a natural rubber specially developed to meet the needs of calf rearers, ensuring that the teats feel natural and comfortable.
Peach Teats will pull-through, or screw-on all standard calf feeders.

The two-litre nursing bottle features a unique two-vent, leak proof air breather for fast feeding.

Screw the pink teat firmly onto the bottle until secure, ensuring no leaks. Fill the bottle with colostrum or milk warmed to 37-39°C (body temperature). Offer the teat to the calf or lamb, allowing them to suckle naturally — the teat flow rate is designed to encourage proper feeding behaviour. Always sterilise the teat and bottle between each feed by washing in hot soapy water and boiling or using a sterilising solution. Tips: For newborns, administer colostrum within the first 6-12 hours of life — this is critical as immunoglobulin absorption closes after 24 hours. Feed at approximately 10% of birth bodyweight in the first 12 hours (e.g. 4 litres for a 40kg calf). Maintain strict hygiene by cleaning and sterilising all equipment between feeds to prevent disease.
