PEACH TEAT BLACK SCREW IN EACH DAVIESWAY 0298/2 at a glance

Daviesway preferences the Peach Teat across its calf-rearing range because it believes its the best teat on the planet.
When a calf squeezes a traditional teat, most of the milk goes back into the container.

The Peach Teats unique patented internal collapsing flap-valve holds the milk in the teat, so it functions like a cow teat - moving all the time while the calf is suckling, and never closes in its relaxed state.
This means that the teat is self-cleaning and resists blocking.
It is also long-lasting and features a milk opening on each side of the nipple, which makes it leak-resistant.

Peach Teats are manufactured from a natural rubber specially developed to meet the needs of calf rearers, ensuring that the teats feel natural and comfortable.
Peach Teats will pull-through, or screw-on all standard calf feeders.

Peach Teats can be used for tube or gravity feeding.
The two-litre nursing bottle features a unique two-vent, leak proof air breather for fast feeding.

Screw the Peach Teat firmly onto your calf or lamb feeding bottle until secure. Fill the bottle with colostrum (first 6-12 hours) or milk warmed to 37-39°C (body temperature). Allow the young animal to suckle naturally on the teat; the flow rate is designed to encourage proper sucking action. Always sterilise the teat and bottle between each feed using hot water and a suitable disinfectant. Tips: Offer colostrum within the first 6 hours of birth — this is when immunoglobulin absorption is most effective and closes off after 24 hours. Ensure milk is at body temperature (37-39°C) before feeding, as cold milk can cause digestive upset. Keep a spare teat on hand so you always have a clean, sterilised teat ready while the other dries.
