Genfarm Para 250 SL Herbicide is a Group 22 herbicide for the control of certain grasses and broadleaf weeds as specified in the directions for use table on the registered label (APVMA 89808). DANGEROUS POISON (Schedule 7). Keep out of reach of children.

- Peanuts (Qld, NT): Datura spp. and other weeds listed on the label
- Non-agricultural situations, around sheds, roadways, paths: annual weed control
- Columbus grass (NSW only)
- Firebreaks: knock down weed growth to eliminate fire hazard or assist firebreak burn

Safety directions (from the label)
Very dangerous, particularly the concentrate. Do not swallow. The product, particularly the concentrate, can kill if swallowed, absorbed through the eyes, or absorbed by skin contact. The liquid can cause burns particularly to the eyes. Will irritate the nose, throat, and skin. Do not inhale spray mist. Wear the protective clothing, gloves and paraquat/diquat respirator specified on the label.
First aid
If poisoning occurs, get to a doctor or hospital quickly. If sprayed on skin, wash thoroughly. If sprayed in mouth, rinse mouth with water. If in eyes, hold eyes open, flood with water for at least 15 minutes and see a doctor.
Environment
Very toxic to aquatic life. DO NOT contaminate wetlands or watercourses with this product or used container.
Storage
Store in a locked room or place away from children, animals, food, feedstuffs, seed and fertilisers. Store in the closed, original container in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area. DO NOT store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight.

What is Genfarm Para 250 SL Herbicide registered for?
It is registered for the control of certain grasses and broadleaf weeds as specified on the label: aid to cultivation (wild oats), rice, spray topping of chickpeas, faba beans, field peas, lentils and lupins, peanuts, non-agricultural situations around sheds, roadways and paths, Columbus grass (NSW only) and firebreaks.
Can it be applied with a knapsack or by aircraft?
No. The label states: DO NOT apply by aircraft, misting machines or manually pressurised handheld equipment. DO NOT apply by spraying equipment carried on the back of the user. Non-agricultural and firebreak uses are by mechanically pressurised hand wand only.
What are the withholding periods?
Livestock: do not graze or cut for stock food for 1 day after application. Horses: 7 days. Field peas, chickpeas, faba beans, lupins, lentils: do not harvest for 14 days after application. Export slaughter interval 13 days.
