Feeding Instructions:

Use in accordance with the Olsson Free Choice System.

Sheep: 5-10g per head per day

Cattle/Horses: 50-100g per head per day

Intake is recommendation only.

Higher intakes are normally the result of mineral deficiencies.

Place out sufficient blocks to avoid overcrowding of stock.

Replace immediately when consumed.

Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

Storage Instructions:
Store out of direct sunlight and under cover.

Introduce cattle gradually over 7-10 days, starting with salt-only licks before offering the urea block — never introduce hungry or starving animals as they will gorge and risk toxicity. Place the block in a secure feeder away from water sources; cattle must drink separately to prevent overconsumption. Ensure adequate dry roughage (hay or pasture) is continuously available, as rumen pH and microbial balance depend on it. Monitor daily intake and adjust block access if consumption exceeds 50-80g per head per day. Tips: Always provide fresh water separately from the lick location to prevent cattle drinking then immediately gorging on the block. If intake seems excessive, reduce access time or add a supplementary salt block nearby to naturally limit consumption. Keep the block in a sheltered area to prevent weather damage and ensure consistent palatability.
