OLSSONS EWE LITTLE BEAUTY PLUS 20% GLYCEROL 15KG BLOCK OLS2803 at a glance

Ewe Little Beauty (Previously Known as Lambli).

Late pregnant sheep and goats on poor quality dry feed are deficient in glucose precursors, and feed intake is reduced.

The drain of glucose to the developing lamb reduces availability of glucose to the ewe and results in pregnancy toxaemia (twin lamb disease).

Olsson’s Ewe Little Beauty Pre Lambing is a high energy block that supplies glucose to the ewe, assisting in prevention of pregnancy toxaemia. Available with 20% Glycerol.

Feed on an ad lib basis year round in conjunction with Peak 50 to maximize production from ewe/goat.

Feeding Intake:

Approximate intake: 20g/head/day

These numbers are approximate and are intended as a guide only. Consumption rates will depend on life cycle of the flock and the quality of the available feed.

Place the lick block in an accessible location away from water troughs, allowing free-choice access for cattle, sheep or horses. Position approximately 1 block per 10-20 animals to ensure adequate availability. Monitor consumption regularly and replace blocks as they are worn down. Ensure animals have adequate water and pasture, as lick blocks supplement rather than replace a balanced diet. Tips: Position blocks on hard ground or in sheltered areas to minimise wastage and extend block life. Rotate block locations periodically to encourage all animals to access the supplement and maintain even wear. Keep detailed consumption records to identify any unusual intake patterns that may indicate nutritional deficiencies in your pasture.
