Place one OLSSON High Sulphur block per 10–20 animals in an accessible location away from water troughs. Allow cattle and sheep free-choice access to the block, where animals will consume it at their own regulated rate based on hardness and palatability. Monitor consumption regularly, as excessive intake may indicate a dietary deficiency not being met by the block alone. Ensure blocks are replaced when worn down to maintain consistent supplementation. Tips: Position blocks in sheltered areas where all animals can reach them equally, and rotate placement if certain animals are being excluded. Remember that lick blocks do not supply significant energy — if energy deficiency is the primary issue, supplementary feeding may be necessary alongside the block. Keep blocks away from muddy areas to prevent contamination and maintain palatability.
