The importance of neutralising value and particle size:

Neutralising Value (NV) is an indicator of a Limes effectiveness in the soil at neutralising acid. Aglimes have a NV of 50% to 90%. OzcalMag has a NV of 99% indicating high purity.

The smaller the particle size the more reactive the Lime is in the soil and the quicker acidity is neutralised.

Apply OZCALMAG at rates determined by soil test results and your pasture or crop yield targets. Spread evenly across paddocks using appropriate fertiliser spreaders for consistent nutrient distribution. Apply during suitable soil moisture conditions to promote nutrient uptake. For best results in SE Queensland, conduct a soil test before application to determine the correct blend specification for your specific soil type. Tips: Store OZCALMAG in a dry location to prevent caking and nutrient degradation — keep bags off the ground and away from moisture. Using a blended fertiliser like OZCALMAG saves time and labour by delivering N, P and K nutrients in a single application pass, rather than multiple straight fertiliser applications.
