Surefire Trepidex 500 Insecticide contains 500 g/L trichlorfon (an anticholinesterase compound), for control of a wide variety of insect pests in various situations as specified on the label. Group 1B insecticide.
Pests on the label include: armyworms (common, southern and lawn armyworm), cutworm, native budworm, webworm and sod webworm, lawn grub, sorghum head caterpillar, cluster caterpillar, cabbage moth, cabbage white butterfly, green vegetable bug, Rutherglen bug, grey cluster bug, fruit spotting bug, banana spotting bug, monolepta beetle, macadamia flower caterpillar, grapevine moth, passion vine bug, Queensland fruit fly and fruit fly, vinegar fly, bloodworm, leaf miner, and flies (maggots and adults).
Situations include: avocado, macadamia, pawpaw, passionfruit, guava, pome fruit, stone fruit, blueberries, strawberries, grapevines, dried fruit, vegetables, cereal and grass seed crops, canola, legumes, linseed, lupins, lucerne, maize, pastures, rice, safflower, sorghum, soybeans, sugar cane, sunflowers, lawn and turf, and dairies, fowl houses, piggeries and stables. Many uses are restricted to certain states; check the label for your state.
Dangerous to bees: do not spray any plants in flower while bees are foraging.

What pests does Surefire Trepidex 500 control?
It is for control of a wide variety of insect pests as specified on the label, including armyworms, cutworm, lawn grub, fruit spotting bug, banana spotting bug, monolepta beetle, macadamia flower caterpillar, Queensland fruit fly, green vegetable bug, Rutherglen bug and flies in dairies, piggeries, stables and fowl houses. Can I use it on macadamias and avocados?
Yes. Macadamia: fruit spotting bug, banana spotting bug and macadamia flower caterpillar. Avocado: fruit spotting bug, monolepta beetle and fruit fly foliage bait. State restrictions apply; check the label.
Is it harmful to bees?
Yes. The label states it is dangerous to bees: do not spray any plants in flower while bees are foraging.
What are the withholding periods?
Do not harvest for 2 days after application (leafy vegetables 5 days). Do not graze or cut for stock food for 2 days after application.
