Fill the 49-litre tank with your chosen herbicide or pesticide according to product label instructions and ensure the tow-behind trailer is securely hitched to your vehicle. Set your desired pressure (typically 20-40 PSI for most applications) using the onboard gauge and select appropriate nozzles for your target spray pattern. Drive at a consistent speed across your paddock, maintaining even boom height 45-60cm above the target, and ensure complete coverage by slightly overlapping each pass. After use, triple-rinse the tank, boom, and nozzles with clean water and dispose of rinsate safely according to label directions. Tips: Calibrate your sprayer before each season by measuring nozzle output at your operating pressure, then calculate application rate using the formula: (litres per minute × 600) ÷ (speed in km/h × boom width in metres). Always inspect nozzles for wear or blockages and replace if spray pattern is uneven, as worn nozzles significantly affect coverage and chemical efficacy. Apply during calm conditions in early morning or late afternoon to minimise drift and maximise herbicide or pesticide performance. Common Questions

What's this sprayer designed to do?

It's a tow-behind trailer boom sprayer that does both precision spot spraying and wide-coverage broadcast spraying. You can use it for general pesticide application across larger areas or target specific spots with the adjustable spot spray gun.

What can I tow it with?

You tow it behind your ATV or lawn and garden tractor. It's got a retractable towbar and sits on a heavy-duty steel cart with large pneumatic wheels, so it handles rough terrain well.

How much does the tank hold?

The tank capacity is 49 litres. It's a large-capacity design with an extra-thick, UV-resistant shell. Litre marks are moulded into the tank so you can easily see how much you've got left, and there's a 19cm diameter lid for convenient filling and a bottom drain for easy emptying.

What chemicals can I use in it?

The tank is compatible with virtually all pesticides. It's specifically approved for use with Roundup agricultural herbicide. The tank walls are made with Santoprene diaphragm and Viton valves for superior resistance to harsh environments and corrosive chemicals.

How do I store it when not in use?

It's designed for compact storage. The towbar retracts, the boom arms fold, and the axle and wheels are removable, so you can pack it down to a small footprint when you're not using it.
