Nitromec Injection Endectocide and Flukicide for Cattle.
For the treatment and control of nitroxynil, ivermectin and clorsulon sensitive strains of internal and external parasites of cattle and triclabendazole resistant strains of early immature (including 2-week old stages), immature and adult liver fluke.
Label claims include
- Gastro-intestinal roundworms: adult and immature stages of Ostertagia ostertagi, Haemonchus placei, Trichostrongylus axei, Trichostrongylus colubriformis, O. lyrata, Cooperia spp., Oesophagostomum radiatum and Bunostomum phlebotomum; adult stages only of Trichuris spp., Strongyloides papillosus and Nematodirus spp.
- Liver fluke (Fasciola hepatica): early immature (including 2-week old), immature and adult stages
- Lungworm (Dictyocaulus viviparus) and eyeworm (Thelazia spp.)
- Sucking lice (Linognathus vituli, Haematopinus eurysternus, Solenopotes capillatus), mites (Sarcoptes scabei var bovis), cattle tick (Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) microplus) and screw-worm fly (Chrysomya bezziana, parasitic larval stages; not reported in Australia but present in Papua New Guinea)
- Aids in control of biting lice (Bovicola (Damalinia) bovis) and Chorioptes bovis mites
Dose
1.5 mL per 50 kg liveweight by subcutaneous injection, high on the neck behind the ear. NOT to be used intravenously or intramuscularly.
Restraint
DO NOT re-treat cattle for 120 days after the last treatment.

What does Nitromec Injection control?
It is for the treatment and control of nitroxynil, ivermectin and clorsulon sensitive strains of internal and external parasites of cattle and triclabendazole resistant strains of early immature (including 2-week old stages), immature and adult liver fluke. 1.5 mL per 50 kg liveweight by subcutaneous injection, high on the neck behind the ear. It is NOT to be used intravenously or intramuscularly. Dose the mob according to the heaviest animal by liveweight in each group (cows, bulls, calves, heifers, etc). DO NOT re-treat cattle for 120 days after the last treatment.
