The Lubing Nipple Water Cups are constantly refilled to supply water in small quantities to reduce the gradual build up of contaminants and disease

A low level of water is supplied and refilled within the cup to minimise spread of disease and health issues caused by the build up of contaminants over time by higher water levels (sits as low as possible and constantly refills as required for this reason)

The nipples and nipple cups require a low pressure system to operate.

They will not operate when connected into a direct mains pressurised water system

Install the Nipple Water Cup to a post or stable wall at the appropriate height for your livestock using the mounting bracket provided. Connect to a reliable water supply via poly pipe with minimum pressure of 20 PSI, ensuring the ball valve is fully open. Fill the cup initially and allow livestock to familiarise themselves with the nipple mechanism. Check water flow regularly to ensure the system is functioning correctly. Tips: Position the cup in a well-drained area to prevent mud accumulation and algae growth around the base. Install in shaded areas where possible to reduce algae development and keep water cooler during warmer months.
