Slide the netting clip over the post and netting together, positioning it so the clip sits perpendicular to the post. Push the clip firmly down the post until it grips both the netting and post securely. Space clips roughly 300-400mm apart vertically along the post to keep netting taut and prevent sagging. Check clips after the first week as netting may settle, and tighten any that have shifted. Tips: Install clips on the downwind side of the post when possible, as this helps the netting hang more naturally and reduces flapping that can loosen clips over time. Don't over-tighten clips on new netting installations — give the netting a week to settle before doing a final check, as fresh netting has some stretch in it. Keep a handful of spare clips in the ute; a few always get lost on bigger jobs, and they're cheap enough to carry extras.
