OPTIMISED CALF HEALTH WITH MULTIMIN CHROME
A 2018 New Zealand study2 showed calves treated with Multimin Chrome* experienced a significant reduction in health issues, with a 54% reduction in cases of diarrhoea and a 48% decrease in omphalitis compared to untreated calves. Morbidity and mortality rates in treated calves were reduced by half during the first 140 days of life.

WHEN TO USE MULTIMIN CHROME

Beef Program
Cows and heifers: 30 days pre-joining and 30 days pre-calving
Weaners: At or before weaning
Feedlot or backgrounding cattle: Before or at induction

Dairy Program
Cows: 30 days pre-joining and at or before dry-off
Heifers: 30 days pre-joining and 30 days pre-calving
Calves: At birth and every 3 months

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS

Multimin is administered as a low-volume subcutaneous injection.
Dose rates are as follows:
Young cattle up to 12 months: 1 mL per 50 kg liveweight
Yearlings 1 to 2 years: 1 mL per 75 kg liveweight
Adult cattle over 2 years: 1 mL per 100 kg liveweight

Always inject high on the neck.
If multiple injections are required, administer on different sides of the neck in accordance with label instructions.

PRECAUTIONS
Do not administer this product to severely debilitated or stressed animals. Do not administer to animals suffering from liver disease. Do not treat thirsty or exhausted cattle. Allow animals access to water after treatment.

Minerals such as copper, cobalt, selenium, iron, manganese and molybdenum compete with each other for metabolically important processes in the animal. Users should seek veterinary advice before treatment.

DO NOT use Multimin CHROME concurrently with drenches, boluses or other animal health products containing selenium or copper. If in doubt, consult your veterinarian. DO NOT MIX products with Multimin CHROME in the same syringe prior to administration.
