Method 240 SL Herbicide (APVMA 90496) is a Group 4 herbicide containing 240 g/L aminocyclopyrachlor present as the potassium salt, for control of woody weeds and broadleaf weeds in various situations as per the Directions for Use.
Situations: native conservation areas, pastoral grazing land, industrial sites such as railways, roadways and utility rights-of-way, and bare ground situations.
Application methods (see label for rates): foliar spot spray, basal bark, cut stump and stem treatments, and trunk injection; broadcast application in bare ground situations only.
Weeds: woody weeds including acacia, eucalyptus, lantana, blackberry, gorse and African olive, and broadleaf weeds including green cestrum, as listed on the label.
Key restraints: DO NOT apply by aircraft. DO NOT plant the treated sites for at least one year after application if non-crop sites are to be converted to a food, feed, or fiber agricultural crop. DO NOT use plant material treated with this product for mulch or compost. DO NOT apply within the root zone of desirable trees and/or shrubs unless injury or loss can be tolerated.

What is Method 240 SL used for?
It is a Group 4 herbicide for control of woody weeds and broadleaf weeds in native conservation areas, pastoral grazing land and industrial sites such as railways, roadways and utility rights-of-way, as per the Directions for Use.
How can it be applied?
The label covers foliar spot spraying (200 mL – 500 mL/100 L water), basal bark and cut stump treatments (5 – 10 L per 100 L basal oil adjuvant or water and 10% methylated seed oil) and trunk injection (0.5 mL undiluted per cut). DO NOT apply by aircraft. It is rain-fast at 1 hour after application.
Can I use it on grazing land?
Yes, pastoral grazing land is a label situation. The grazing withholding period is nil and the export slaughter interval is 12 days. DO NOT transfer grazed animals from treated areas to areas where sensitive crops occur without first allowing three (3) days of grazing on untreated areas.
Can I leave mixed spray in the tank overnight?
No. Shake before use, add the required amount to a partly filled spray tank with agitation operating, and do not allow spray mixture to stand overnight.
