Unroll the fencing and lay it out along your fence line, checking it's straight and free of kinks before you start. Attach the bottom of the mesh to your posts with hinge joint clips or wire stays, keeping it taut but not over-stretched — you need a bit of give so it doesn't tear when an animal leans on it. Work your way up the fence, securing every 300mm or so, and make sure the top is pulled tight and level across all posts. Tips: Always run a test section first to dial in your tensioning — too loose and sheep will push through, too tight and you'll split the wire in hot weather. Keep your posts solid and no more than 2.4m apart; this fencing relies on good post spacing to stay rigid and do its job. Check your fence line after heavy rain or if stock have been pressing on it hard, and re-tension any spots that have sagged.
