MAX-LOC FIELD FENCE
FERAL BLOC

Max-Loc Feral Bloc pre-fabricated fence is offered in both a constant size mesh and graduated mesh spacings. Graduated mesh spacing prevent smaller animals penetrating the fence. Both style fences provide an impact resistant barricade against marsupials such as wallabies and kangaroos, also dogs, pigs and feral animals.

The GalMAX Max-Loc Field Fencing range is supplied in 2.50mm high tensile heavily galvanised wire.

All wires are heavily galvanised for extended life.

Unroll the netting along your fence line and secure the top to your existing posts or strainers using star pickets or wire every 1-2 metres. Pull the footer tight along the ground to eliminate gaps where smaller ferals can slip through, then peg it down securely every metre or so. The 90mm height sits above ground to stop burrowing, so make sure you're not folding or bunching it up during installation. Tips: In Queensland heat, the mesh can become loose over time, so check your pegging after a few weeks and re-tension if needed—don't just set and forget it. Always install on the side of the fence where your stock are kept; if ferals are already inside your paddock, this won't stop them getting out. The footer works best on relatively level ground; if you've got gullies or uneven country, you'll need to dig a shallow trench or use extra pegging to close any gaps.

Common Questions

What is Max-Loc Feral Bloc fencing used for?

Max-Loc Feral Bloc is a pre-fabricated field fence designed to keep out feral and wild animals. It provides an impact-resistant barricade against marsupials like wallabies and kangaroos, as well as dogs, pigs and other feral animals. The graduated mesh spacing helps prevent smaller animals from penetrating the fence.

What makes this fence suitable for feral animals?

The fence is made from 2.50 mm high tensile heavily galvanised wire, which gives it the strength and impact resistance needed to withstand pressure from larger feral animals. The graduated mesh spacing in this design is specifically engineered to stop smaller animals getting through as well.

How long will this fencing last?

All wires are heavily galvanised, which provides extended life and protection against rust and corrosion. This helps the fence stand up to outdoor conditions over time.

What's included in this roll?

This is a 100 m roll of Max-Loc Feral Bloc fencing in the 13/90/15 + Footer configuration. The roll weighs 104.0 kg.
