LIVESTOCK CONDITIONER PELLET 20KG JOHNSONS 911656 at a glance

Johnson’s Livestock Conditioner pellets are a balanced pellet specifically formulated for maintaining the condition of sheep and cattle or assisting to meet pasture quality and quantity shortages.

A balanced complete feed, processed with hay, straw, cereal grains, legumes, soya bean meal, vegetable oil, vitamins and minerals reduce the risks associated with selectivity and provide a safe diet for sheep and cattle.

This pellet can also provide a safe introductory diet for livestock entering a feedlot.

It allows a smooth transition to the lamb finisher pellet or cattle booster pellet which is high in energy and protein necessary for optimal growth.

Features:

Fibre stimulates rumination and reduces the risk of acidosis.

Do not require additional access to hay or straw once accustomed to pellets.

The pellets are formulated with macro and micro minerals and vitamins.

Ingredients:

Introduce Johnsons Livestock Conditioner Pellets gradually over 7-10 days, starting with small quantities and increasing to the desired feeding rate. Feed at the rate recommended for your cattle type and production goal, typically 2-4kg per head daily depending on pasture quality and body condition. Always provide fresh water and quality roughage (hay or pasture) alongside pellet feeding. Store pellets in a dry location away from moisture and vermin. Tips: These pellets are safer to introduce than raw grain due to their formulated composition, making them ideal for supplementing cattle on dry pastures or during drought conditions in SE Queensland. Monitor cattle body condition weekly and adjust feeding rates accordingly — overfeeding can lead to acidosis and other digestive issues. Keep pellets dry during storage as they readily absorb moisture, which can reduce nutritional value and promote spoilage.
