You can slip a Lightning Fence Dropper in place in seconds with a flick of the wrist and a screwdriver, then you can forget it for years.

Position the dropper vertically between your fence posts at the spacing required to keep your fence wires at the correct heights. The four wire clips are pre-spaced at 30-30-30cm intervals to hold four strands of fence wire. Clip each wire strand into the appropriate slot on the dropper, working from the bottom up to keep tension even. Attach the dropper to a tie wire or clip at the top to prevent it from slipping down the fence line. Tips: Light brown droppers are less visible in dry grass country which reduces the chance of cattle or horses knocking them deliberately. Space droppers every 3-4 metres for most applications, or every 2 metres in areas with cattle pressure or undulating ground. The 30-30-30 spacing suits standard 4-strand cattle fencing — check your wire spacing requirements before ordering.
