Kohnke's Own Muscle XL is a premium, concentrated supplement designed to help horses build muscle, strength, and top-line.
Muscle XL is suitable for horses of all ages and levels of training as a targeted supplement of muscle-specific 'foods'. It builds strength and better muscle and body condition without causing hot or excitable behaviour.
Contains:
- Premium protein base containing all essential and non-essential amino acids.
- Concentrated sources of extra branched chain amino acids (BCAAs leucine, isoleucine and valine)
- Extra amount of critical of often deficient amino acids lysine and methionine
- L-glutamine for muscle energy
- Organic sulfur (MSM) and high potency natural vitamin E
- Powdered supplement with a palatable vanilla milk flavour

What is Muscle XL?

How much do I give?
Each level scoopful provides 40 grams. Horses (450 – 600 kg body weight): 80 grams per day. Ponies (under 450 kg): 40 grams daily, mixed into the normal main meal or hard feed.
For how long do I feed it?
Normally daily for 14 – 30 days until desired muscle build and top-line is achieved, then usually as a top-up course for 5 – 7 days each month or after hard exercise or competition.
Is it suitable for competition horses?
