JOINER RURAL END CONNECTOR POLY 3/4" X 20MM MALE PHILMAC 99822200 at a glance

Philmac Rural can be easily disassembled and reconnected simply by loosening the nut and taking the insert out of the body of the fitting.

The pipe can then be freed.

Philmac Rural inserts are self aligning.

Simply bring the insert into the body of the fitting and then tighten the nut with a wrench.

As the nut tightens it will draw the insert into the body of the fitting to create the perfect seal every time.

The flat face of the insert allows the installer to tap it into the pipe with ease.

Because the insert does not need to pass over a seal there is no risk of damaging the seal during installation.

Philmac Rural has been a market leader in Australia for over 20 years, with a strong track record of performance in tough Australian conditions.

Rural, Safelok and Metric components are all interchangeable as they share a common body.

This end connector joins rural poly pipe to a 3/4" male threaded outlet (such as a tap or valve). Ensure the poly pipe end is clean and cut straight before inserting the barb into the pipe until fully seated. Secure with two stainless steel hose clamps (one near the barb end, one further along the pipe) and tighten firmly to prevent leaks under pressure. The male thread allows connection to female-threaded fittings or outlets on farm water systems. Tips: Always use stainless steel clamps with barb fittings to prevent rust and corrosion in rural Queensland conditions. For easier future disconnection, consider compression or threaded fittings at key access points instead of barb joins. Check that your rural poly pipe is rated to at least 800kPa before installing this connector, especially in pump-fed systems.

How do I install it?

Loosen the nut and insert the male end into your poly pipe. The insert is self-aligning—just bring it into the body of the fitting and tighten the nut with a wrench.
