JOINER RURAL ELBOW 90D POLY 1" (25mm) PHILMAC 99853300 at a glance

Philmac Rural can be easily disassembled and reconnected simply by loosening the nut and taking the insert out of the body of the fitting.

The pipe can then be freed.

Philmac Rural inserts are self aligning.

Simply bring the insert into the body of the fitting and then tighten the nut with a wrench.

As the nut tightens it will draw the insert into the body of the fitting to create the perfect seal every time.

The flat face of the insert allows the installer to tap it into the pipe with ease.

Because the insert does not need to pass over a seal there is no risk of damaging the seal during installation.

Philmac Rural has been a market leader in Australia for over 20 years, with a strong track record of performance in tough Australian conditions.

Rural, Safelok and Metric components are all interchangeable as they share a common body.

Insert the poly pipe firmly into the barb fitting until it bottoms out against the shoulder. Secure with two stainless steel hose clamps positioned either side of the barb ridges, tightening evenly to prevent pipe slippage. For 1" (25mm) poly pipe, ensure the pipe inner diameter matches the fitting size before installation. Test for leaks under system pressure before burying or concealing the connection. Tips: Always use stainless steel clamps with barb fittings in rural applications to prevent corrosion and clamp failure. Cut pipe ends square with a sharp knife or pipe cutter for better seating and a watertight connection. For Queensland gravity-fed systems, 1" elbow fittings are standard; if upgrading to pump systems, consider 1.25" or 1.5" for improved flow rates.
