The hexagonal body makes them extremely simple to install. Importantly, Philmac threaded fittings are suitable for working pressures up to PN16 for sizes up to 2”, PN12 for 2-1/2” and PN10 for 3” and 4” sized fittings.

Smart hexagonal design makes the fittings compatible with tools and ensures that Philmac BSP threaded fittings are extremely easy to install.

This joiner nipple reducer connects two poly pipes of different sizes (3/4" to 1/2") using barbed ends that grip the pipe interior. Insert each pipe end firmly onto the corresponding barb until fully seated. Secure each connection with two stainless steel hose clamps positioned near the barb end, tightening evenly to create a watertight seal without over-tightening and damaging the pipe. Tips: Warm the poly pipe slightly in hot water before inserting onto barbs for easier installation and better grip. Always use stainless steel clamps with barb fittings to prevent rust and corrosion in Queensland's wet climate. Check that both pipes are cut cleanly and squarely before joining to ensure proper seating on the barbs.
