The hexagonal body makes them extremely simple to install. Importantly, Philmac threaded fittings are suitable for working pressures up to PN16 for sizes up to 2”, PN12 for 2-1/2” and PN10 for 3” and 4” sized fittings.

Smart hexagonal design makes the fittings compatible with tools and ensures that Philmac BSP threaded fittings are extremely easy to install.

This 1 1/2" x 3/4" joiner bush connects two different sized poly pipes at a 90-degree angle. Insert the larger 1 1/2" barb end into your poly pipe using a twisting motion, then secure with a stainless steel hose clamp on each barbed section. Ensure the clamp is positioned just below the pipe end to create a watertight seal. For permanent installations, consider using solvent weld fittings instead of barb connections. Tips: Always use stainless steel clamps with barb fittings to prevent corrosion and ensure longevity in rural Queensland conditions. Cut poly pipe cleanly at right angles with a sharp knife before insertion, and soak the pipe end briefly in warm water if it's difficult to slide onto the barb.
