Johnson’s Velocity is a high energy, well balanced pelleted feed designed to deliver useable, sustained, safe energy to race and harness horses in medium or hard work, competition horses, or horses requiring more energy.

High in antioxidants to aid in recovery from hard work, includes a prebiotic and probiotic to maintain optimal gut health, and contains a mycotoxin binder to help guard against mycotoxins which can compromise health and performance.

Feeding Recommendations:

Introduce any new feeds into your horse’s diet gradually over a 1-2 week period.

Designed to be fed in conjunction with roughage such as pasture and hay.

May be fed either wet or dry, alone or combined with other ingredients (eg. chaff or grains). Horses should receive a minimum of 1% of their body weight in roughage per day.

The suggested feeding rates are a guide, and the amount required will vary depending on the quality and quantity of pasture and hay available, stage of training, exercise intensity, body condition and metabolism of your horse.

Divide into smaller feeds if feeding over 0.5kg per 100kg of body weight per day.

Ensure your horse always has access to clean water.

Ingredients:

Johnson’s Velocity contains Barley, Lupins, Faba Beans, premium grade export quality Oaten Hay and Lucerne Hay, Full fat Soybean (GMO free), Soybean Oil (GMO free) and Johnson’s Premium Vitamin and Mineral premix (including chelated minerals, prebiotics, probiotics, and mycotoxin binder), Sodium Chloride and Dicalcium Phosphate.

Feed JOHNSONS VELOCITY at the recommended rate based on your horse's bodyweight and work level, typically 0.5-1.5kg per day for horses in light to moderate work. Divide the daily feed into two or more smaller feeds to aid digestion and prevent digestive upset. Always provide access to quality roughage such as hay or pasture alongside this hard feed. Introduce VELOCITY gradually over 7-10 days by mixing increasing amounts with your horse's current feed to allow the digestive system to adapt. Tips: Store JOHNSONS VELOCITY in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and moisture to maintain nutritional quality and prevent spoilage. Ensure your horse has constant access to fresh, clean water throughout the day, as adequate hydration is essential when feeding hard feeds. Adjust feeding rates based on your horse's body condition, workload, and individual metabolism to maintain optimal weight and performance.
