Management

Sow as early as possible to maximise winter feed in the first year. Before first graze, conduct a pull test to ensure the pasture is ready to graze. Graze when the plant has two and a half to three leaves, and leave sufficient residual after each grazing for maximised recovery and dry matter production.

Sow at 25-40kg/ha as a sole sowing or 15-25kg/ha in a mix. Sow as early as possible to maximise winter feed in the first year.
