Slide the pinlock insulator onto your post—it'll grip steel, timber, or concrete without needing tools. Run your wire or tape through the slot and lock it in place with the pin. Make sure the insulator sits firmly against the post so there's no gap that'll bleed energy into the ground. Space them roughly 1 metre apart depending on your wire configuration. Tips: Don't overtighten the pin or you'll crack the insulator body—it just needs to be snug enough that the wire won't slip under load.
