INDUSTRIAL MESH AVIARY FENCING 120 X 12.7 X 12.7 X 1.6 20M JACK 20831 at a glance

Whites Aviary Meshes are high in strength. Come in a range of various apertures and wire diameters to enhance both viewing and properly secure larger birds.

Suitable for birds such as Galahs, Corellas, African Love Birds and all Australian Parrots. For cockatoos and macaws, we recommend a very high-strength mesh such as our Mesh Panel range.

It allows good visibility into the aviary whilst keeping out most vermin.

It is also suitable for many uses beyond aviary making.

Hot dip galvanised after manufacture for maximum corrosion protection.

Unroll the mesh and secure it to your posts using fencing wire or clips, working from one end to the other to keep tension even. Pull the mesh tight as you go so it sits flush against the posts and won't sag. For a 20-metre roll, you'll typically need posts every 1.5 to 2 metres depending on your terrain and what you're containing. Once secured, check the entire length for any gaps or loose sections before putting birds in. Tips: Keep the mesh pulled tight during installation—sagging mesh is harder to maintain and gives birds opportunities to get tangled or escape. In Queensland heat, check your fixings every few months as wire can corrode faster in salt air or damp conditions; replace any rusted clips before they fail completely. This mesh size is good for poultry and smaller birds, but measure your opening height carefully if you're installing on uneven ground to avoid gaps at the base.
