HORSLYX ORIGINAL MINERAL LICK 650G
Original Balancer is a concentrated, lick-fed nutritional balancer designed to supplement forage and grazing. It is intended to help fill common vitamin, mineral and trace-element gaps while allowing the horse to consume small amounts throughout the day. It can be fed to horses and ponies ranging from those at rest to performance horses, with additional feed added according to workload and nutritional requirements.
What it provides
- Complete vitamin and mineral supplementation: Contains vitamins A, D3, E and B12, plus iodine, copper, manganese, zinc and selenium.
- Hoof support: Provides 12 mg/kg biotin, together with methionine and zinc, nutrients associated with healthy hoof-horn growth.
- Skin and coat support: Contains vegetable oil, including linseed oil, providing Omega-3 fatty acids that support skin and coat condition.
- Antioxidant support: Vitamin E and selenium contribute to antioxidant and normal immune-system functions.
- Protein: Supplies 6.5% crude protein, contributing amino acids needed for tissue and muscle maintenance.
- Very low starch: The product is formulated as a concentrated lick rather than a conventional cereal-based bucket feed. Horslyx describes it as extremely low in starch.
- Trickle-feeding format: Because the horse has to lick the product rather than simply consume a bucket of feed, it is designed around the horse's natural tendency to eat little and often.
