Weigh your horse accurately using a weight tape and dose according to body weight as per the label instructions. Administer the liquid drench orally using the dosing syringe provided, placing it in the side of the mouth to ensure full ingestion. For best results, worm on an empty stomach or at least 2 hours after feeding. Repeat treatment only after conducting a faecal egg count (FEC) test to determine if treatment is necessary, rather than following a fixed calendar schedule. Tips: Always dose accurately by weight — underdosing is the primary cause of drench resistance and treatment failure. Rotate between different active ingredient classes (macrocyclic lactones, benzimidazoles, and pyrimidines) across treatments to prevent resistance buildup. Keep detailed records of all worm treatments and faecal egg count results to develop an effective parasite management plan tailored to your horse.
