Equimax Elevation is an oral broad spectrum wormer and boticide paste for horses. Each 23.1 mL syringe contains 9.0 g pyrantel embonate, 1.0 g praziquantel and 0.14 g ivermectin.
It is highly effective against tapeworms and gastrointestinal, cutaneous and pulmonary nematodes and bots of horses of all ages.
Parasites controlled
- Tapeworms: Anoplocephala perfoliata, Anoplocephala magna, Paranoplocephala mammillana (adult and immature, heads and segments)
- Large strongyles: Strongylus vulgaris (adults and arterial larval stages), Strongylus edentatus (adults and tissue stages), Strongylus equinus (adults) and Triodontophorus spp. (adults)
- Small strongyles (cyathostomins), including benzimidazole resistant strains
- Ascarids: Parascaris equorum (adult and immature), including adult stages of ivermectin, moxidectin and abamectin resistant strains
- Pinworms: Oxyuris equi (adult and immature)
- Lungworms: Dictyocaulus arnfieldi (adult and immature)
- Bots: Gasterophilus spp. (oral and gastric stages)
Mares may be treated at any stage of pregnancy. Stallions may be treated without adversely affecting their fertility.

What parasites does Equimax Elevation treat?
It is highly effective against tapeworms and gastrointestinal, cutaneous and pulmonary nematodes and bots of horses of all ages. This includes adult stages of ivermectin, moxidectin and abamectin resistant strains of Parascaris equorum (ascarids).
When should foals first be wormed?
