AMMO Allwormer Paste for Horses, 32.5 g syringe (APVMA 56187).
For the treatment and control of tapeworms (A.perfoliata) and roundworms, including ivermectin and abamectin resistant strains of Parascaris equorum, arterial larval stages of Strongylus vulgaris and benzimidazole resistant small strongyles, bots and skin lesions caused by Habronema and Draschia spp. cutaneous larvae (summer sores) and Onchocerca spp. microfilariae (cutaneous onchocerciasis).
At the recommended dose rate of 5.4 g/100 kg this paste controls:
- Tapeworms: Anoplocephala perfoliata
- Large strongyles: Strongylus vulgaris, S. edentatus, S. equinus
- Small strongyles, including benzimidazole resistant strains
- Pinworms: Oxyuris equi
- Ascarids: Parascaris equorum
- Hairworms: Trichostrongylus axei
- Large mouthed stomach worms: Habronema muscae
- Neck threadworms: Onchocerca spp.
- Bots: Gasterophilus spp.
- Lungworms: Dictyocaulus arnfieldi
- Intestinal threadworms: Strongyloides westeri
Dosage and administration
The contents of this syringe will treat one horse of 600 kg bodyweight. Each 5 mL division on plunger contains 5.4 g sufficient to treat 100 kg of bodyweight. To administer place nozzle into the side of the mouth and deposit the paste as far back over the tongue as possible. Immediately raise the horse's head for a few seconds after dosing to ensure the full dose has been swallowed.
General directions
All horses should be included in a regular parasite control programme with particular attention being paid to mares, foals and yearlings. Because re-infection is common, treatment must be repeated routinely for effective control. AMMO is highly effective against gastrointestinal, cutaneous and pulmonary nematodes and bots of horses of all ages. Regular treatment will reduce the chances of verminous arteritis and colic caused by S.vulgaris. Consult your veterinarian for a control programme to meet your specific needs.

DO NOT USE in horses that may be used for human consumption. This product should not be used in dogs or any other pets.
