Key Times of Use

Use Yellow Cap proactively rather than reactively at times when magnesium depletion, grass tetany, and milk fever are more likely to occur:
• Pre calving / Pre lambing: Begin six weeks prior and continue every three weeks until seasonal risk decreases.
• Lactation: Dose every three weeks while risk persists.
• When grazing lush green feed or during rapid early spring pasture growth.

Application & Dosing

Administration Methods:
• Water Trough (preferred): Use a Beachport Dispenser fitted to a drum of Yellow Cap; the dispenser slowly doses the product into the water over 48–72 hours.
• Mixed With Feed or Applied to Hay: Can be dripped onto feed/hay as stock eat.

Dose Rates:
• Cattle:
First dose 50mL/head, then 25mL/head every three weeks.
• Sheep / Goats:
First dose 10mL/head, then 5mL/head every three weeks.

These dose rates help ensure adequate magnesium levels in the bloodstream to reduce deficiency risk.
