Hasten Spray Adjuvant is an esterified oil-based product with non-ionic surfactants to assist the effectiveness of Herbicides and other Agricultural Chemicals.
The formulation is a blend of esterified vegetable oil and non-ionic surfactants that is suitable for use as a Spray Adjuvant with a range of agricultural chemicals including Herbicides, Insecticides, Fungicides, Defoliants and Desiccants where oil-based adjuvants are specified on the label

Application Instructions
HASTEN is a blend of esterified vegetable oil and non-ionic surfactants suitable for use as a spray adjuvant with a range of agricultural chemicals. It improves spray results by increasing penetration through waxy cuticles, increasing wetting and spreading of spray droplets, and reducing spray droplet evaporation rates.
Application Rates
- Recommended usage rate: approximately 0.5–1.0 L/ha, and should not be less than 0.2 L/ha
Mixing Instructions
- Fill spray tank one-half full of water and add the required amount of the agricultural chemical while agitating
- Add remainder of the water
- Add the required amount of HASTEN last and continue agitation until completion of spraying
Usage Note
HASTEN can provide enhanced performance compared with mineral oil or vegetable oil based adjuvants. Under cold conditions (below 10°C) HASTEN is preferred to other crop oil adjuvants with certain herbicides. Always follow the directions on the tank-mix chemical's own label — the chemical manufacturer's directions always take precedence. (APVMA 47999)

Usage Guidelines
- Read all directions for use on both the EFFECTIVOIL label and herbicide label
- The herbicide manufacturer's directions and recommendations always take precedence
- Trial application on small area recommended before large scale use on sensitive crops
- Exercise care under conditions of drought stress, high temperatures, and high humidity
Storage
- Store in closed original container in well ventilated area as cool as possible
- Protect from frost
- DO NOT store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight
- Under conditions below zero degrees celsius EFFECTIVOIL may thicken and become cloudy
- Returns to normal clear liquid state above zero degrees celsius
Environmental Protection
DO NOT contaminate streams, rivers or waterways with the chemical or used containers.
Container Disposal
Triple rinse or preferably pressure rinse containers before disposal. Add rinsings to spray tank. If recycling, replace cap and return clean containers to recyclers or designated collection point. If not recycling, break, crush or puncture and bury empty containers in local authority landfill to depth of 500mm or more, clear of waterways, desirable vegetation and tree roots. Empty containers should not be burnt.
