Hasten Spray Adjuvant is an esterified oil-based product with non-ionic surfactants to assist the effectiveness of Herbicides and other Agricultural Chemicals.
The formulation is a blend of esterified vegetable oil and non-ionic surfactants that is suitable for use as a Spray Adjuvant with a range of agricultural chemicals including Herbicides, Insecticides, Fungicides, Defoliants and Desiccants where oil-based adjuvants are specified on the label

Application Instructions
EFFECTIVOIL is a highly penetrating spray adjuvant suitable for use with certain post emergent herbicides. It improves herbicide performance by utilising the excellent penetration effect of esterified vegetable oils in combination with the wetting and spreading characteristics of non-ionic surfactants.
Application Rates
- Post emergent herbicides: 0.3-1.0 Litres per 100L
- Subject to spray volumes, usage rates may vary between 0.2-2.0 Litres of EFFECTIVOIL per hectare
- May be used in place of non-ionic surfactants or crop oils
Mixing Instructions
- Follow directions on the herbicide label (herbicide manufacturer's directions always take precedence)
- Half fill spray tank with water and add required amount of herbicide while agitating
- Top up tank with water then add required amount of EFFECTIVOIL
- Continue agitating while spraying
Important Precautions
In some situations EFFECTIVOIL may reduce selectivity. Care must be exercised when applying with post emergent herbicides on sensitive crops under conditions where plants are subject to drought stress, high temperatures, and high humidity. If in doubt use precaution and trial by application to a small area before committing to a large scale application.

Usage Guidelines
- Read all directions for use on both the EFFECTIVOIL label and herbicide label
- The herbicide manufacturer's directions and recommendations always take precedence
- Trial application on small area recommended before large scale use on sensitive crops
- Exercise care under conditions of drought stress, high temperatures, and high humidity
Storage
- Store in closed original container in well ventilated area as cool as possible
- Protect from frost
- DO NOT store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight
- Under conditions below zero degrees celsius EFFECTIVOIL may thicken and become cloudy
- Returns to normal clear liquid state above zero degrees celsius
Environmental Protection
DO NOT contaminate streams, rivers or waterways with the chemical or used containers.
Container Disposal
Triple rinse or preferably pressure rinse containers before disposal. Add rinsings to spray tank. If recycling, replace cap and return clean containers to recyclers or designated collection point. If not recycling, break, crush or puncture and bury empty containers in local authority landfill to depth of 500mm or more, clear of waterways, desirable vegetation and tree roots. Empty containers should not be burnt.
